School Knott Tarn

About this walk

This trail leads you up to School Knott Trn in the Lake District National Park. It's a bit of a climb, but it's not too taxing, and the reward is excellent. From the Tarn, you can make your way up to the actual summit called Scool Knott, where you get an amazing panorama over Windermere town, the full length of the lake, and the high fells. The route also takes you past the beautiful little School Knott Tarn. It’s a great walk if you want a massive view without having to climb a massive mountain.
